For those who weren't aware, I started my business when my daughter was only a few months old. Fast forward to now, I continue to juggle motherhood and running a business with two children.

I’ve recently found myself having to say “no” to attending so many business meetings and events due to the fact I often have my young children at home during the week. 

Another issue I had is that a lot of networking events are very formal and can be quite nerve-wracking for a lot of small business owners…

I’ve created 'The Business Mums' community, offering both in-person and online networking for like-minded mums juggling running a business (or in a BD role) and motherhood. A place where you can connect with others and be comfortable to nip out for a quick nappy change!
